밀란 쿤데라의 ‘참을 수 없는 존재의 가벼움’에서 우리의 인생을 완성작이 없는 초안, 무용한 밑그림이라고 표현한 문장이 인상깊게 남았다. 이 문장이 오히려 인생에 있어서 모든 선택과 표현이 그림이라고 말하는 것 같았기 때문이다.

자신을 표현하는 일이 어렵다고 느낀 요즘, 밑그림 없이 단 한차례의 작업으로 그림을 완성시키는 Alla prima 기법과 플럭서스의 탈장르적, 다양한 예술간의 융합에서 영감을 받아, 인상깊은 문학 작품과, 글들을 보며 느끼는 감정과 생각을 드러머 문기덕이 첫 솔로앨범 ’Alla Prima’ 에서 즉흥연주로 풀어내고자 했다.

In Milan Kundera's "The Unbearable Lightness of Being," I was deeply struck by a sentence that portrayed our lives as a draft without a finished work and a useless sketch. I felt like it seemed to say that all choices and expressions in life are paintings.

Feeling that expressing oneself is really difficult these days, I was Inspired by the fusion of Alla Prima technique of completing a painting with a single work without a sketch, as well as "decategorization" and various arts of Fluxus. I tried to improvise the feelings and thoughts of seeing impressive literary works and writings in my first solo album 'Alla Prima'.
